OK,
no problem (sure....). Let me know what chapter of Capital you'd like me to work
on. I'll probably be finished with the Lessons of October tonight sometime and
after a short break could start next week....oh yeah...I have to see if I HAVE the
first volume of Capital. I think I might have the Vintage version someplace (the
one with Mandels intro).

Per said that he'll be back in the scanning mode by June after he helps organize
the Newsgroup. I had not realized Chris Baily is involved. I already mailed in my
ballot. BTW, I asked Chris to check with New Park publications to see what they
have of Trotsky on disk (it was Healy's publishing house). I also asked John Plant
to check with Revolutionary History magazine (I'd like to use Paul Levi's intro to
the Lessons of October from thier issue on Germany from 1994 as the intro to the
Lessons of October I'm scanning in).

What else...I am wondering if we should do a general "Call for Papers"(on disk
that is) of people and institutions who have MELT (Marx/Engels/Lenin/Trotsky)
on disk. What do you all think?

I sent Pers a list of the Trotsky stuff I was interested in doing or planned on
doing myslelf...I can post it to you guys later if you want. Still no word from "Stev
e" in the UK about this underground group of Trots who claim they've scanned in
everything from Trotsky in the 30s. Ken, have you heard back from them?

David
