I have a problem with the following formulation of Jerry's:

Please substitute "many male Marxists" with "many males who identify
themselves as Marxists".  Frankly, I don't want to be lumped together with
A.O. and his type and the adjective "many" isn't good enough to handle the
magnitude of the problem.
