I agree with Dave B. Also ...

Let's get honest here. Carroll doesn't like Bob and he used the first
opportunity that was presented to him to (ab)use his position as moderator
to unsub Bob. He did this: a) unilaterally; b) without warning Bob or
explaining to him his offense; c) with a predisposition against Bob (as is
indicated in the snide line "I await an issue of your magazine devoted to
enemies of poor and working people").

Moreover, if there has been a post that was the _most_ offensive and
[intentionally!] incendiary, it was Carroll's post where he called Bob a
"provocateur."  

We have just discovered how _no_ moderator may be preferable to a
self-appointed one. Perhaps it is best if m-fem did without "moderation"
until Martha G's return.
