No one else has been un-subbed except Malecki. You can have no idea
of the rush of off-line responses to Malecki's posting. There
are a number of people on both m-i and m-fem whose absence would
not be noticed with regret, but (believe it or not) I am most
allergic to any kind of "censorship," and unless some overwhelming
demand arose would resist any suggestions for further "expulsions."

The quotation marks are to indicate that *censorship* ought,
on the whole, to refer only to supression of speech/writing by
state power or by the direct power of the ruling class (through
its ownership of all major media. My own preferences on maillists
is that members should defend themselves with the delete key, and
ignore provocations. But I also insist that "Malecki" is an articialal
creation by someone (perhaps named Robert Malecki); hence mye
postscript.

Incidentally, Red Flag and I have apologized to each other
off-list, and all is peaceful between us.

    Carrol Coxx
