I have to pay for every single second of access. I accept that a person can be in principle against moderation. That's why I had asked, I was curious if it was your objection to moderation that kept you from subscribing. As for me being a moderator. I don't know what kind of a moderator I'll be. What I do know is that the old Marxism list was almost impossible to follow if one suffered from any of the following constraints. 1. English as a foreign language, hence slow reading. It is impossible to read all the material. 2. Non-office job. (i.e. you couldn't read e-mail during lunch). General lack of time. The volume was too much. 3. Slow or expensive internet account. Currently, the three post a day rule seems to have stopped people from posting for the sake of posting. I can see that one could argue that people should be able to post for the sake of posting. We have Marxism-General for that. I hope Marxism-International will be a relatively low volume, but high content list. The three-post rule is intended to make people self-moderate. Put more effort into their posts and limit the volume without limiting the content. We'll see if it works or not. Zeynep
