A gigantic >>banner saying: "Defend the Nigerian refrigerator workers!" Stick the ozone >>hole up your ass or give them the means of producing neon free >>refrigerators!" That would be a great theme in a first of May demo. > >Yes, I'd be for that. > OK Rolf! You got a deal! I promise that at any workers meeting, demo, or trade union activity fight for the above line. Now to the other problem ATOMIC POWER.. I suggest a line in the workers movement of boycotting any referendum on the single issue of atomic power. A line that workers refuse to take responsibility for the energy programs of Sweden or anywhere fot that matter where the bougeoisie has power. Only with a *real* workers government based on the trade unions and whatever type of workers organisations develop in the future in taking complete power and responsibility of production and distribution of all goods including atomic power. For years no one cared when workers died of black lung or cancer when other energy forms were used and now when the middle class and petty bougeois and bougeois circles want to "reform" Sweden's energy suppliy mainly because they are afraid of and atomic accident which could effect them without bringing into question of the entire production of goods and who shall control the production and distribution of those goods the working class should not feel empowered to "reform" anything. Give us the entire power and then we can discuss this issue along with all the other issues of production and distribution. Let the bank workers open the books and run a central bank. Confiscate not only the energy sector but the banks and the big industries under workers control and then we can discuss the matter of atomic power. Until then the Greens and all those who support a single issue campaign around this stuff deserves no support from the workers movement. However we do support all reforms involving workers heatlh in the industries and offices on a concrete level. Futhermore we reserve the right to access of both nuclear weapons and a nuclear shield from all imperialist countries until the workers in these countries disarn their own ruling classes and we can really disarm! That is the short version. But politically correct i think. Bob Malecki --- from list marxism-general-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
