Subject: M-G: Dondero,s Italy document!


The text document by dondero on Italy appears to be completely supportable 
in a general sense from a Trotskyist tactical perspective. Hopefully the 
document and the practice of the people responsible for writting it coincide 
in practice in carrying out this orientation and its programatic political 
consequences. Naturally this is linked to what kind of class struggle 
program one puts forward as a potential organiser of regroupment or a split 
in the various wings of the organisations involved.

But credit should be given where due. Dondero's document out shines the 
present debate going on here of all kinds of organisational conclusions 
without any clear link to political program. Especially the tendency to take 
the organisational aspects of the left completely outside of any 
programatical and political conclusions.
