Subject: M-G: The Maoists and Afghanistan!

Rolf (the Maoist) has been whining a couple of days about Malecki and the
Trotskyists. This time on Afghanistan. So I guess he deserves a short answer.

The Maoists (Rolf) since the days of the war in Vietnam have usually found
themselves on the wrong side of the barricades. In fact in the anti-war
movement there pop-front line was also a betrayal but this is another question.

Rolf openly admits his support of the Afghan rebels against the so called
Kremlin "revisionists". In fact what he is saying is that he was on the side
of the Mullahs who now have taken power in Afghanistan. They were supported
by Pakistan, the United States, Iran and probably a lot of other
"progressive" states according to Rolf's world view!

Yes! Trotskyists were on the side of the Soviet Union in this war. However
that does not mean Trotskyists take political responsibility of how the
Stalinists carry out a war or their political line. But the opposing forces
in this case was the Soviet Union, then a deformed workers state on one side
and a feudal mullah fundementalist movement backed by the American
Imperialists, Pakistan and Iran.

Just as we were opposed to the invasion of Checkoslavakia. Where the
opposing sides were something entirely different.

The fruits of Rolf's great victory and support of the other side can be seen
in Kabul today. I think your pals in Kabul don,t even appreciate your
support and would probably nail you to a cross Rolf. Much better to support
the German bougeoisie as you do today as being a "progressive" force in your
world view.

As usual the Maoists with their world view on this issue as many others wind
up blocking with the class enemy of the International proletariat.

Warm Regards
Bob Malecki
