As a newcomer (or lurker more like) to the list : Hello!

After following Ang's URL to Africa Direct
(http://www.africa2000.com/INDX/rwanda1.htm) and continually finding the
server down I have found an alternative Africa Direct URL at
http://www.junius.co.uk/africa-direct/index.html ; the Living Marxism server. 

Apparently it is still under construction, so the aforementioned article by
Barry Crawford is unavailable there.  Still, there is a statement written by
Mr. Crawford and one other article as well as the Africa Direct manifesto -
a call to all those who want to reveal the truth behind 90s 'humanitarian'
imperialism and rebuild a force for internationalism.

I do not know from which of the two servers (junius and africa2000) Africa
Direct will continue to operate, but I urge all those who are interested to
keep trying both URLs.
