Actually I thing that the Swedish government knows more then they are 
saying. Some of the MRTA people have ex-wifes and families here so the 
question of asylum is not just something drawn out of thin air. In fact some 
of these people have the right to asylum because they have relatives here if 
not families.

But, the Swedes certainly do not want a stample as a "haven" for terrorists. 
And in fact have been trying in every way possible to deport Peruvians for 
just "terrorist activities". Now that they see the possibility of making 
some imperialist brownie points the minister (a Social Democrat) has said 
officially that "he had no information about this, but would be checking it 
all out".

That is probably a big crock of shit. 

More later if anything develops on this end.
