Rolf is right about one thing; the message that was forward to me had the
words "anti-imperialist" rather than "anti-subversive" contained therein.
This changes the letter, but not the spirit, of Rolf's asinine statement.
In a sense, though, he has already revised it, and has at least
acknowledged (by damning with faint praise) his earlier gaffe. So, to
quote Sir Nigel: "Fuck him and the horse he rode in on."

Sid, I'm a little surprised you'd stoop to defend this maggot; his is the
same ideology that led to the herding of thousands of homosexuals into the
death camps in 1938-45. Only today, we regard him only as a dotty old
eccentric, more to be ignored or pitied than feared. If only one could
say the same of our dear Vladimir. "Professor" Bilenken is that
depressingly common phenomenon, a foreign "revolutionary" swilling
generously the milk and honey of a system he affects to despise. Let him
slurp his way into the hearts of the American taxpayers whom he so
ungraciously burdens.

And a Sir Nigel to him, as well.

Louis Godena
