>1) Is Ebonics a separatist phenomena and must be fought against?

No and yes! No in the sense that we are dealing with children who do not
have any other language then Ebonics to communicate with. Yes in that Black
nationalists are trying to use this issue to push their seperatist line. For
Socialists or Communists it is obviously correct to defend the first and
condemn the second. We are for language reforms that can help children learn
to communicate and we are for language reforms for significant minorities
like the Chicanos and Puerto ricans. We are against seperatism because both
blasck and brown workers must be part of the any revolutionary Socialist or
Communist party of the future..

>2) Do African-Americans have a right to use and teach their own
>dialect?

They should have!

>3) Are African-Americans part of the American nation?

Yes! But we have to draw a class line here. Thus Socialists and Communists
have no tears for the bougeois elements of these races.

>4) Are African-Americans to be integrated into the American nation
>(assuming they aren't part of it) whether they want to or not?

This is just a petty bougeois arguement kept alive by the nationalists. In
fact the blacks and other minoroties should be seen from a class perspective
and with real class interests! When you do that one quickly realize that
poor and working class people have no country!

>5) Where do readers of this list stand on the question of the use of
>Spanish by Puerto Ricans in the USA?

A significant minority which deserves certain fundemental guarantees for
their culture and language. But this is also under ordered class struggle.
Thus if blacks or spanish speaking peoples put their own interests ahead of
all poor and working class people in general with schemes of their "own"
nation they should be fought against on principle..
