I have taken nearly and hour after dinner to write this letter. A lot of 
thought and consideration has gone into this letter both in regards to the 
serious accusations that once again appearing on the lists and naturally 
this list which I certainly hope has a future!

Sorry but I am not guilty this time! And you know from the past that I would 
immediatel apologize if i had broken the above rule! And will use my last 
letter of the day to reply to you and the other moderaters publically on 
M-I. I actually posted two letters today before I went to work. Quite 
conciously saving one letter to answer the new round of slander from your 
pal Proyect! Which I intend to do! And will start working on it after I send 
this off to you! However I did notice that for some reason two copies of 
each letter (i sent this morning before work) came to M-I and you can not 
blame that on me. I mean I certainly do not post the same letter twice to 
the list. Perhaps the next time you should try reading the letters before 
you jump on your moderation horse..And naturally I openly admit that in the 
past I have broken the three post rule and have tried to retify this 
behavior after polite warnings from the moderaters. And natarually have no 
complaint in getting such a letter from time to time from the moderaters.

 But John the above letter actually has nothing to do with what is really 
going on at present. I mean what is the three post limit compared to the 
serious charge of having a "cop" and "agent provacateu" in the mists of M-I? 
Doesn,t the moderaters think that this kind of stuff should have a priority 
above keeping the most active writers in line? I mean here we have and 
example of Bob don,t post more then three letters a day and then say 
absolutly nothing about Bob being accused of being a cop and agent 
provacateur and deadly enemy of the Proletariat. Hmmm, I find these 
evaluations rather strange on a "marxist" list.. 

But I think what we have here is a much more serious question about 
accusations of being a cop and agent provacateur by Proyect without one 
ounce of proof. In other words a repeat of the M1 stuff. This is much more 
then a flame war! These are charges which every communist and Socialist 
should take very seriously! And if the moderaters try to ignore this serious 
accusation they in fact become part of the crime..

 So I suggest that you contact your pal because he started something that 
goes well beyond any rules or principles that M-I as a "marxist" discussion 
list should have. But knowing your record (as a personal friend to Proyect) 
I certainly can not demand that you take and iniative  on this stuff and I 
certainly will not wait patiently for the moderaters to intervene against 
Proyects criminal provacaction. Because this kind of stuff goes far beyond 
any kind of polemics.. But if you were smart and do not want the list 
destroyed you would really try to stop him now. Or at least demand that he 
prove these charges of cop and agent provacateur..

I hereby formally demand that Proyect either presents proof to M-I that I am 
a cop and agent provacateur. I mean every militant on this list should 
demand that such serious accusations be taken seriously! Who could possibly 
want a cop and agent provacateur on a marxist list? Then again who would 
want somebody that makes such an accusation on the list? So i think that 
demanding clarity, clarity, clarity, from the person who made the 
accusations in the first place.

This is not a question of a polemical flame wars with words like "Stalinist" 
"Bernstein", "Menshevik" etc. But a accusation of being a cop and agent 
provacateur which certainly are the deadly enemies of the Proletariat. And 
naturally like fascists should certainly not be allowed to participate on a 
marxist list! Naturally I will use all my efforts to defend myself against 
these very serious accusations and will keep open the option of bringing 
anybody from the anti-war movement and left into this in order to defend my 
integrity as and anti-war activists and now Trotskyist militant. Whether 
they be people like Phil Berrigan, Liz McCallister, ex weathermen people, 
USecers, Spartacists or what ever is neccessary to prove my innocence. This 
includes taking it out on the Internet publicly because my previous 
experience on M1 showed that rather then fight this kind of stuff out in and 
open and honest way and finding clarity on a serious principle it was used 
as and excuse to reorganize Jefferson Village. Well you re-organised 
Jefferson village but once again this stuff is coming to the surface because 
it was not dealt with previously.

I demand that the list and the moderaters defend the very basics of marxist 
principles of the labor movement. Cops and Provacateurs should be 
immediately expelled. Now either you support Proyect's accusations made 
public on M-I or your don,t. Their certainly can not be any question of 
ignoring such a serious accusation. Not once but twice and in fact three 
times on three different lists by Proyect. So obviously he either has proof 
in making such serious accusations or he is lying and slandering other 
serious militants on this list. I demand that the proff be presented to the 
list! And I demand that if the list thinks that Proyects proof is decisive 
that the list immediately take action to rid the list of a cop and agent 
provacateur in their mists!

Naturally if Proyect can not bring this proof. Then the list should 
certainly take action against Proyect in the form it see fits. Thus make 
this a clear example in the future of where the line goes on M-I. 

And as Justin said "Moderaters, start moderating!". This is not just a 
simple flame war but a serious and dangerous challenge to the very existence 
of an open discussion list and in fact the future of M-I! And ultimately a 
cancer which must be erased from the workers movement.
