Dear List,

I will be rather busy setting up a new second hand computer which might even
go a little faster and have a little larger hard disk then the one i have at
present. All depends on what happens when gluing it all together and getting
it to work.

Quite a number of problems with my server here in the north. It appears that
everything is crashing for them. One day the mail, the next FTP and Telnet
and yesterday i could not even get to their homepage nor could anyone else
for that matter.

Most people are really pissed off at this point. Unfortunately up here in
the north there are not to many Internet possibilities that have a modem
pool in the nearest city which is 55 kilometers from here. We have only two
and both appear to be bad.

And as usual everything up here in the north has last priority. Thus it is
in southern Sweden where 90 percent of Swedes live that one can get a decent
connnection.
Here in the north in fact there are some people who still have not got
electricity! Never mind and Internet server that works on a regular basis.

By the way in the process of all this shit my server crashed twice this week
while taking home the post. So most of the mail went down the drain. So
sorry if I missed anything written which i should have replied too.

In the middle od all this I am having discussions with the youth group that
split from the USec! Fortunately not with Internet but snail mail and the
telephone! And it appears too work better then my Internet connection.

Perhaps! by Friday everything will be up and running here. But with me doing
this stuff of trimming in this new second hand computer with bits and pieces
I honestly do not know what will come out on the other end.

See you soon! Perhaps?

Bob Malecki
