		Question to Marxism-General:

Did Karl Marx ever become a British citizen? What was his
relationship with the British authorities? Did his political activities in
Britain ever put him in danger of getting kicked out of yet another country?

What does it mean that the British capitalist structure seemed to
take so little umbrage at the presence of Marx and his socialism? Was it the
celebrated politeness of that country or was Lord Granville, the Foreign
Secretary, right when he responded to Spain's call for suppression of the
international by saying that in England they felt no danger of armed
insurrection because the English members were peaceful men, solely occupied
in labor negotiations?
