Subject: M-G: Revolutionary Regroupment

Hi Bob! I skimmed through your various postings on "Revolutionary
Regroupment"(I leave for Austria in 1hr, so no time to read!), and found it
very interesting. It was something I had wanted to talk to you about just when
I saw your postings! I was on the internet and the saw the little sectarian
grouplets of "authodox" Trotskyist organizations, and wanted to discuss with
you the tactics of regrouping real authodox Trotskyist under real Trotskyist
ideas and tactics. The decayof Trotskyism has me deeply saddened. I often
thought that someone should make a general call for a Trotskyist organizations
to amalgamate( there are so many parties, splits, breakoffs and separate groups
that it's almost funny), but I don't know. There is a new Canadian Political
Party starting, my original analysis of it ( with some help with some comrades
in England), was that it was a centrist party, so I accessed it, only to find
out one of the head organizers was an old Trotskyist! Now I see the party as a
sectarian adventure run by an old Trotskyist who has lost their militancy in
their beliefs. I have had many battles about work in the mass organizations,
and the creation of the revolutionary party from the mass organizations, but I
have to see how that goes. Anyway, what do you think about "Revolutionary
Regroupment"? Just curious, Talk to you when I return!
