To me, these efforts of you and others do look sincere at least.

Since you know Swedish, perhaps you've heard that proverb
saying approximately the same thing as your sentence above:

"Man kan inte g=F6ra alla till lax, som makrillen sa."

(You cannot make everybody into salmon, said the mackerel.
Sorry, *no* pun in English!)

*But* the objective fact remains: The line of every Trot is rot.

And - I just now remember: A couple of days ago I put together
a certain form posting with which to reply to people using the
term "Stalinism" (etc). You'll now be the first object of its
utilization! Should I forward some congratulations on this,
or just fell a couple of tears (in the sorry fashion of - sorry! -
Karl C. recently)? I cannot make up my mind on that one at once.
Meanwhile, I shall post the first filled-in copy of that form...
