Subject: Re: M-G: NEUE EINHEIT: 1994--Letter to R.Martens: "Refusal of any cooperation"

Weklu wrote the below (largely snipped here), on 27.08.

1) How nice! Now finally, after I had recently published that
letter in German, in parts 10-11/11 of "VEREINIGT EUCH! Info
#49de: Kritik der NE, 1990", the Klasberries fulfill their
promise of 17.08.1996 of publishing this mendacious and
self-revealing thing in English.

2) I in my June 1994 letter to the degenerated bourgeois "NE"
group did propose, yes, even some *discussion* of some matters,
namely, of the CIA document the "RIM Declaration" of 1984,
a copy of which I included with that letter. I thought that perhaps
even they, as now a bourgeois group, might be appalled at the
really *ultra-reactionary*, *pro-US-imperialist* line and lies
of that document and, at least, say something against this,
even if only from a bourgeois (2nd-world-bourgeois) standpoint.

But no. They didn't even want an alliance with me against that
*purely CIA* ultra-rightist line; they didn't even want to make
a statement of their own against that vile document (which they
might have made quite without me too, without pretending that
I existed, even). They simply *had* to continue licking the
asshole of the CIA.

Only quite recently they've half stopped doing so - forced into
this by me - by their writing, on 05.08.1997, in that posting
entitled: "NEUE EINHEIT: Rolf Martens' latest slanders", that the
"RIM Declaration" *is* unacceptable to them and had been so
since 1986-87 (to their then different organization). A very
brief, very shy *mumbling* on their part, but anyway.

Was I wrong in June 1994 to propose a *discussion* even with
those people, whom I had rightly called "now a bourgeois group".
I cannot see why I should have been. Cannot proletarian forces
invite even bourgeois ones to discuss perhaps a common stand
against *the forces of the very worst ultra-reaction* in the
world? I think they can. I think this was no mistake of mine.

Of course, the Klasberries turned down my proposal, since
they in reality even were *in favour of* that *ultra-reaction*
on this point - in its attack against the M-L forces. The
Klasberries, as a representative of certain *German* bourgeois
forse, may have some genuine contradictions to the US
imperialists, who also are subjecting Germany to a certain
imperialist bullying. But against the proletariat - on this
point both bourgeoisies are close friends.

This autumn 1994 letter, the other and main points of it,
I've already commented on in German. Some similar comments
perhaps in English too perhaps I should make - but this only later
if at all. With my Infos #49de and #50en, the Klasberries already
stand rather clearly exposed, I should think.

It's noteworthy too that "weklu" has no comment whatsoever on
those Infos, so far at least.
