Date: Wed, 17 Sep 1997 04:31:18 -0400 From: malecki-AT-algonet.se (Robert Malecki) Subject: M-G: News from fake Trotsky Faq.. Todays news from the fake Trotsky Faq is the below attached reply to a queery by Chris F about banning people who have never been on the list by David W, who takes to lies and slanders in order to confuse people. David by the way is one of those groveling "Trotskyists" who has liquidated into the American Labor Party and drives a constant campaign in solidarity with the pro democratic right wing of the LP against anybody who dares to raise their voices about the complete bankruptcy of these labor fakers who's only goal in life is to tie militants to the Democratic Party and the trade union bureaucrats under the guise of building an "independent" LP. In his reply he claims that I have stated publically that Malecki wants to "destroy the anti-Spart Faq". This is a lie and a slander. In fact I do and did call for the destruction of the fake Trotskyist Faq because of its obvious Stalinist norms of bureaucratic bans of certain people from its inception. Not for any crime on this Faq but for existing and the possibility that Malecki might do something if let in. This is the reason I made the call of the destruction of the fake Trotsky Faq and nothing else. In fact from the beginning my position was that this list was traveling under a false flag in building illusions that there is a family of Trotskyism where many of the organisations represented would literally be on opposite side of the barricades on many questions. I still hold this true. But that does not mean that I would have called for its destruction. It was ONLY after the bans were imposed by the moderaters that I made that call and will continue to do so as long as the bans are up. Because in reality I am calling for the destruction of Stalinist practices by the moderaters of this fake Trotsky Faq. They are in word saying Trotsky in WORD and in DEED acting like Stalinists. Finally David who is licking the boots of the right wing of the LP complains that Bob thinks that everything he writes belongs on the LP list. Yes that is true. Because most of what I write has to do with poor and working class people. But even more important combatting the LP leadership who wants to tie the LP to the Democratic Party and the trade union bureaucracy. In other words a bunch of mindless activists who can disarm any kind of attempt to organize a real Independent Workers Party in the United States.. As new people come on to the list we'd have to constantly explain about "uncle Bob and his 'problem'". It wouldn't make any sense for him to be on the list and he's said more than once on a.p.s.t. that he wants to "...destroy the anti-Spart FAQ...". What manner of workers' democracy would allow someone, by his ravings, to disrupt the actual work of the list? Anyway, I hadn't realized Maleki was excluded from the get-go. It's probably to late anyway, but I'd before one of the moderators writing him a letter and ask him he'd like to "work on the project", explain that polemics are not allowed on the list, and there is no spamming, of which he is becoming an internet legend in his own right. Then the ball is in his court. Bob honestly beleives that everything writes deserves to be on every politcial list there is. I constantly delete almost everyone of his postings on labr.party on Labornet since it's completly irrelevant to the building of a Labor party in the US. (when he writes something about the LP, I leave it on). That's the real problem, he doesn't really have respect for the people he's writing to. He's actually kind of sad.
