Calthorpe Arms, 252 Grays Inn Road, London WC1 Wednesday 17 September 1997, 7.30pm Many socialists saw the formation of the Socialist Labour Party as an opportunity to build a mass class struggle party to challenge the increasingly rightward movement of the Labour Party.
