you've got sounds logical, of course. The quote should be
possible to find in one of the many histories of the
Kennedy "story" (or the K administration); the first place
to look, I think, would be in one of the works dealing
with the so miserably failed Bay of Pigs invasion attempt
in early 1961 - an action that JFK "inherited" from the
Eisenhower administration, it has been said. There is one
(purported) Cuba "expert" (or strong adherent) writing to
the M-I list, Luis N (N for "Nobleman", surely) Proyect;
he might know perhaps?! (And it's "Schlesinger", with only
one "s", I think.)
