Official Public Declaration of "Cockroach!" on the Stalinist purge
on and "open" list at Jefferson Village to the workers movement on
Internet and its press....And all those who defend workers democracy
on "open" discussion lists...

Dear Lists, Usenet, Cockroach subscribers! and Straightfacts Radio! The
Stalinists and the Mensheviks who now appear to control Jefferson Village
which is surpose to be a series of discussion lists on Internet of
both open and more moderated character have now turned a list
which has been "open" with a three post a day limit since its
inception well over a year ago have now decided to expell and ban
the "Trotskyists" and in fact enforcing a permanant ban on Malecki.
His crime is publishing the newspaper "Cockroach" which has been coming
out on a bi-weekly basis for quite a long time now and in fact long
before the M-I list at Jefferson Village was created as an "Open" forum.
According to the Stalinists my crime is of "liking workers to Cockroaches!"
and are now attacking a poor and working class Zine called "Cockroach" and
are trying to silence a workers newspaper on Internet through bans
and purges! I call on all Communists and Socialists to defend
Workers Democracy! And in fact just the bougeois right of freedom of
the press. But why all of a sudden this attack to close down and
open list at Jefferson Village?

The Marxist-Intemational list (M-I) has been and "open" list with
the only rule of three posts a day limit. In a recent coup the Stalinists
appear to have gained control of the moderator posts after two of the
moderators from its inception resigned from their posts. The Stalinists
soon after found and excuse to purge all of the "Trotskyists" who on
principle defended and expulsion of what list parcipatant who's has
been active in the "Squatters" movement in New York and long time
member of the list. In less then 8 hours all the "Trotskyists" who
defended the principle of workers democracy were expelled and others.

At least five or 6 people in less then 8 hours and all of the professed
Trotskyists were expelled. And now a couple of people will be permanently
banned from the list. One of them Malecki for producing the Internet
newspaper Zine "Cockroach" with the following motivation of Louis Proyect
a know ex SWP now turned neo Stalinist yellow journalist and cop/agent
baiter..

Proyect writes on thaxis and probably all of the lists at Jefferson Village!

This reply by Proyect as the excuse for banning Malecki who is the editor of
"Cockroach" on Internet comes after being on the lists at Jefferson Village
for over two years and on the M-I list since its inception. Not only do
the Stalinists want to silence the Trotskyists, but they attack a workers
newspaper on the Internet as the excuse to ban Malecki from a list he has been
on since its inception. Below is my reply Below is my reply to this obvious
Stalinist provacation and attack on a newspaper which does its best to
take up the struggle for poor and working class people on the Internet.
At the same time I call on all Socialists and Communists to defend
Cockroach as I would defend your right to publish and participate
in open lists on the net. And especially all Socialist and Communist
militants at Jefferson Village and SPOONS who have control of the buttons
to stop the purge of a list that has been open to all since its inception.

Sorry to bother this "Marxist" list but it seems that the Stalinist purge of
people at Jefferson Village has spilled over here and to other lists. So the
above excuse is what the Stalinists are using to justify my permanant
expulsion from M-I. Quite funny that they waited over two years! too dream
this up. But here is my defense of using "Cockroach" as the name for my
newspaper which appears to be my horrible crime for being purged from the
M-I list at Jefferson Village. Out of Socialist and Communist decency I hope
that someone will post this two M-I and naturally keep me informed of what
is going on their by breaking this crude attempt to purge political
opponents by sending all M-I material to M-G which is still open to all
political tendencies.. I hope that all communists and socialists struggle
NOW against the new turn at against workers democracy at Jefferson Village
which is effectively and conciously being destroyed by the Stalinists...And
their Menshevik supporters..By the way this was one of the first articles to
be published when I started Cockroach! And on principle I defend every word!
In fact by buying this "excuse" by the Stalinists you are in DEED
authorizing the destruction of the newspaper "Cockroach" which appears by
weekly on Internet. I demand that all Communists defend the rights of this
Internet newspaper against the viscious attack by the Stalinist to silence a
newspaper for poor and working class people on the net!

COCKROACHES!


When I was a kid growing up in New York City, I met my first
cockroach. In fact I met millions of them. If I were to get up
in the middle of the night to get a glass of water or go to the
bathroom the cockroaches were there. For example, arriving at the
bathroom to take a leak. I would turn on the light and thousands
of cockroaches on the ceiling and walls would run for cover.

Even here in Sweden their is a word for cockroach, (Kackel=E4cka),
so obviously the cockroach is and international bug! However I have
not seen one cockroach in my 23 years of exile here.                        
                                                                            
                                                        

However, in New York City, the struggle to exterminate the cockroach
has been going on for a very long time. I remember so well the
struggle. In our apartment we would spray poison two or     three
times a year. Thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of cockroaches
would die in these attacks. Some would survive and move up into the
apartment over our heads. Then the people in that apartment would
try and exterminate them. The same thing would happen. Thousands,
perhaps hundreds of thousands would die. Then the cockroaches would
move up to the next apartment.

When the cockroaches got to the apartment nearest the roof of the
apartment house. The same procedure described above would take place.
Then    the cockroaches started their long trip down again and end
up in our apartment!
Then this stuff would start all over again. The struggle to
exterminate the cockroach has probably been going on for centuries.It
is probably still going on today. Perhaps the only difference being
that the cockroaches have gotten a little smarter and have become
more resistant to the pesticides used against them.

Today when I am soon to be 53 years old and understand this stuff a    
whole lot better, I,m beginning to understand that I perhaps have a
lot  in     common with the cockroach! I mean the treatment these bugs
have been getting sort of reminds me of what poor and working class
people have been getting for centuries.

Of course the ruling class both in America and internationally have
had much more refined methods of extermination of poor and working
class people. But the millions and millions of dead poor and working
class people are still a fact. The dead can not carry on the struggle.
It is only the survivors, people like me and you, who can do anything
about the ruling class trying to wipe us out.

Perhaps we can learn something from the cockroaches struggle to
survive extermination. If the cockroach was smart, it would of did
something about  their situation a long time ago. I mean just think
if the cockroaches had begun to organise themselves into trade unions
or started a newspaper called "Cockroach" claiming that they were
going to put and end to people who historically trying to exterminate
them.That might have saved a whole lot of lives and suffering for
the cockroaches.

Well poor and working class people have been trying to organise
themselves for a fairly long time now. Unfortunately, just like the
cockroaches poor and working class people are devided about the
question of : What should   be done?
Some say  I ain,t going to do a god dam thing! Others say, that I am   
going to make the best of it and fuck everybody else. Some even join
the side of  the exterminators, while others just want to reform the
ruling class into being nice guys or girls!

The author of these lines thinks that the struggle against the
ruling class (exterminators), is a struggle of poor and working
class people against the ruling class.Only one side or the other can
win.Because if poor and working class people don't win, they lose!
Perhaps poor and working class people can build and alliance with
the cockroaches to fight for political power. The cockroaches
understand historically what the struggle is about.

In America and Sweden, as elsewhere there is a dire need for a
new political party. A party which can fight for political power
for poor and working class people in their own name. Perhaps we
could call it "The cockroach party". Because I think that even
the cockroaches understand by this time that it is either them
or us!

I mean if we want that apple pie dream. Poor and working class people
are going to have to organise themselves in order to take the apple
pie from those who have got it! Because there isn't anyway else the
rich and powerful are going to give it up without a fight.
