I do not know how accurate this report isand therefore I am trying to obtain a document in english if possible on the conference or a summary of its proceedings. I find a number of things troubling .The post calls for a "modern day version of socialism" This could mean almost anything. The counterevolutionary "New Thinkers" called it Perestroika. It called for a "new imgage"instead of "a single abstract model" Who ever advocated this Certainly not the communist and Workers Party Bulletin.of the 1970's and 80's. Most troubling of all the word imperialism is not to be seen.Is Mr. Manuel Monerido of Spain's CP a "euro-communist that sold out the struggle for socialism? There are many other disturbing questions. Dave Silver --- from list marxism-general-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
