No it can not be applied mechanically, each party has it's own character,
any work in them requires special circumstances - but the forces of marxism
are too small and weak to have any chance of forming a mass base without
working where the workers are, that's where we will build our mass base -
from the working class - and where else are we going to get them?  Not all
social democratic parties are formed from trade unions - and not all are
organically linked to the unions - the NDP in Canada is a good example  it
was created by socialists and had no organic links with the unions - in fact
not many unions are organically linked to it.  More later - must run
