We need to be careful and distinguish between dialectical contradiction
and just plain contradiction. Just who are "the oppressed"? If it said
that it is the nation oppressed by another nation, then the class
perspective is lost. Marxism explains how workers are exploited and
unfree, not as particular nationalities, but as members of a class. To
be in an "oppressed minority" at all it is usually necessary to belong
to the majority class in society, the working class. From this
perspective, identifying with the working class across borders provides
a rational basis for political action. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

"distinguish between",yes agreed. The Soviet historian Pokrovsky has
pointed out,"that we understand the objective factors of a
revolution....and not in fickle psychic process, that one should
see the motive forces of a revolution."Pokrovsky warns
against,"the worthlessness of that vulgarly economic interpretation
of history which is frequently given out for Marxism.

Free thought, neccessarily involving freedom of speech
                      and press,I may tersely define thus:no opinion a law-no
                      opinion a crime.
