> Kabila scoffs at US offer of 10 million dollars in aid to DRC
>
> KINSHASA. Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) President Laurent Kabila on
 Wednesday scoffed at a US offer of 10 million dollars in reconstruction
 aid, saying it was far too little. "Ten million dollars is absolutely
insufficient," he said over state radio, adding: "Even 100 million
dollars wouldn't be enough." US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright,
who will meet the new leader of the former Zaire for the first time
during a visit here Thursday, announced the aid package on Tuesday in
Addis Ababa, during the first stop of her African tour. The DRC has
estimated that some 1.29 billion dollars will be needed for the
reconstruction of the resource-rich country and requested 728 million
dollars from the international community.{AFP}

                  How long will Kabila last?And many million will he
                  take with him when he flees?
