Subject: M-G: Oh what a tangled web ...


Despite the statement by "LRF" that he/she is leaving prior to any
expulsion, in the chauvinist-titled post (below)

"FOR THE MENTAL CASES ........"

which tries to imply it is *off* list "harassment" that has prompted the
withdrawal,

it is clear that it is the challenges *on* list that has prompted this
flurry of activity and then subsequent public withdrawal,

accompanied by RC Phelan's silent "Protest" implying he/she has also
withdrawn.

Those exchanges *on* list, exposed LRF posting at least twice in the name
of other subscribers for which he/she gave no explanation or apology. And
other evidence was produced of other posts being tampered with before being
submitted.

Of course there is nothing to stop them coming back under a new name, but
then they have the problem of how to post with any political credibility
and for what purpose? 

Some of the posts suggested they/he/she had attempted to force Spoons
through the threat of legal action through the bourgeois courts to alter
the archives. But even if this is done about the present episode, most
people have memories, and many keep their own archives. It seems I am not
the only one who recalls reading a report of Thomas Murray's sad and sudden
death. Perhaps someone can search the archives for this. 

Perhaps Thomas Murray himself can explain? Perhaps he has already
successfully sued the originator of such a distressing report?

So let us assume that this person/these people will stay around or return,
while presumably thinking what they will say about their aims, a problem
even if they play around presenting themselves with a new identity.
