Subject: M-G: Changes in marxism-general

In an effort to improve the quality of marxism-general, while
maintaining its openness and lack of censorship, I am proposing the
following changes in list rules:

(1) There will be a limit of one contribution per day per subscriber.
Exception: in the rare case that the same subscriber is
simultanerously involved in more than one discussion thread, then he
or she is allowed to make one contribution per day to each thread.

(2) The maximum length of the postings will be 10,000 characters.

(3) In the long run, no more than 20% of the list traffic should
originate from any single subscriber.

At this point, these changes are not yet instituted but they are a
proposal subject to discussion.

Hans Ehrbar.
