Subject: M-G: Rolf still labelling and libelling


I object to Rolf using marxism-transition to repeat slanderous innuendos
about myself, and is not a good advertisement for his chosen solution to
the need for a home for marxism-general. 

I had not repeated my call in December for his expulsion but am prepared to
do so again. 

Of course a healthy suspicion about other people's motives is wise. I have
myself considered the apparent record of Rolf's ability to split with
everybody and stir up dissensions as a possible characteristic of an agent. 

His arbitary repetition of his slander now, without any new evidence, makes
it clear that he is prepared individualistically to break any working
cooperative basis for an effectively self-moderated marxism-general list.

If he has new evidence he should present it to the formal moderator.
Otherwise he should open his web-site on "great internet spies I have
unearthed", and shut up his provocations on marxism-general.

I am particularly disappointed because I was just prepared to ask Hans to
raise the quota on the number of posts daily to m-general, but Rolf's use
of the unquota'd opportunities of marxism-transition to repeat slanders
(actually in the context of another list - marxism-psych) shows he is
unrepentant.

Rolf should apologise to the list, even more than to me, or withdraw from
marxism-general.

Certainly the infesting of "marxism-space" with cops
is one striking feature of capitalist exploitation's
(not all that serious) degradation of the environment.
But the phenomenon is there, and should not only be
explored but also drawn lessons from and used for
enlightenment. (Also, isn't it quite fun with a 
bit of cloak-and-dagger stuff?)

In brief, in connection with the creation of a new list,
one shouldn't fear the intrusion of cop writers etc but keep
the list as open as possible, learning from all postings
and just guarding against such things as very big numbers
of spam postings.
