Don't you think it in the least strange that in a country where large
numbers of workers had been led and educated by communists for several
decades that there wasn't even a token attempt to defend the gains of
socialism. The only demonstrations were in favour of greater
*bourgeoisie* democracy. China wasn't invaded and even if large sections
of the party hierachy had become bourgeoisie influenced one would have
expected some sort of response from class conscious workers.
