On the crucial question of Malecki-style, I've always wondered myself about
the exclamation point. Why, for example, "Dave writes!"? Why, even,
"Cockroach!"? A few years ago, the town of Hamilton, Ohio, tried to change
its name to Hamilton! as an act of civic boosterism. Is Malecki really a
mid-American Chamber of Commerce guy on some weird psycho-marxism jag?

Also, if Malecki refers to himself in the third person, should his
interlocutors use that form too rather than the second person?
