On the crucial question of Malecki-style, I've always wondered myself about the exclamation point. Why, for example, "Dave writes!"? Why, even, "Cockroach!"? A few years ago, the town of Hamilton, Ohio, tried to change its name to Hamilton! as an act of civic boosterism. Is Malecki really a mid-American Chamber of Commerce guy on some weird psycho-marxism jag? Also, if Malecki refers to himself in the third person, should his interlocutors use that form too rather than the second person? Doug --- from list marxism-general-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
