This is a great inside on what's happened. Here in Portugal
(western-europe, remember) I've heard a 30sec. TV news only stating "a
black man shot by police when driving at high speed"...

This raises the question about the relations between racism and
capitalism, and mostly between anti-racism and anti-capitalism. To most
marxists racism is only a side issue of a most broad question of
capitalism, stating that when this ceases so will do that. Well, the
question is that in between is black people (and other minorities as
well) who is suffering the worse.

But is raises still more questions. Isn't the class-strugle a thing of
the past, shouldn't reallity nowadays require other kinds of struggle
against capitalist/imperialist/colonialist forms of exploitation?

Can this be a marxist position? Or at least a post-marxist one?
