Subject: M-I: American Elections

It strikes me as a wee bit odd that a President can be elected with ony a
bit more than a million votes.  Does anyone see anything wrong with this
process but me?  I think that the American people need, really need to be
educated and enlightened.  It is a mockery of democracy when a president
can be elected in the manner of George Bush, when only something like 27%
of the people voted.  

I wonder what Karl would say...
Any thoughts?
