Subject: M-I: Marx & Morality

The LTV implies an entire morality. Out of the womb of tradition, from the
"Many the wonders..." chorus in the Antigone, and the Aristotelean conception of
homo faber, the artificer, thru the zenith of the craft guild system especially
in the workshops of Renaissance
Florence and the apotheosis of the genius of artisanry qua Artist,
labor/work, throughout history, has struggled to establish its
authentic dignity over against spurious moral ascendancy of Medici's on the one
hand and Popes on the other.

The bourgeois super-ego was an advance upon the medieval moral system of
pollution/ablution; and if western civ. liberates itself into the full
actualization of an autonomous Homo Faber, it will generate a commensurate
Humanist worldview constituted by a theology of liberation, etc.

It's curious the list'rs who can only conceive ethics in its bourgeois form; and
the aporia, therefore, as one of "morality vs science".
