		Mr. Austin,

While it goes without saying that socialism must necessarily
become a world movement, the out-of-hand rejection of "socialism in one
nation" (as if it precludes socialism in more than one nation) is badly
conceived. It is badly conceived because it encourages Marxists in their
already egregious habit of ignoring law and the constitution of law.
Until we are ready for a world constitution we will not be ready for world
socialism, and we are not, nor do I believe we will ever really be ready
for a world constitution. Transnational corporations are units that are
completely subject to the laws of specific nations, as are trans-national
political parties and unions. Therefore, we MUST create socialist legal
systems, country by country, one country at a time (preferably with the
shortest gap of time between countries).

Again, I believe that the next stage of socialism is a
de-centralizing movement. Insisting on globalism in the face of that is
an error.

	peace
