Subject: M-I: Hugh's support for Robert


I think my question was fair. In any case I am sure Hugh would
have seen through a simple trick.

But I have to admit I was quite unprepared for the reply which I found
very surprising, for reasons that I cannot easily sum up
quickly. Quite apart from their different styles, I had expected that
Robert having been substantially influenced by Spartacists, would have
at least one or two political differences with Hugh, even on 
grounds of statistical probability.
