Subject: M-I: Rails to J*

Did I mention the railworker who has been taking photographs of railroad scenes
the last few years? He is untutored in photography, but managed to get a slew of
pictures into the company calendar. He has a natural flair for composition and
got excellent results using a dime store 35mm camera. He liked it because he
could put it in his pocket on the job and whip it out when he saw an
opportunity. I encouraged him to try better equipment; eventually he upgraded to
a rangefinder with telescopic and wide-angle capabilities.

Not long ago I asked him how the photography was going.

"Good," he said, "But I'm not taking many railroad shots anymore. I started a
series on jails. I go out on weekends all over the area. I'm finding some great
stuff."

Jon Flanders, using OzWin 2.12.1
