How do you know this? Once again, as with M1, I'm impressed how many people have firm opinions about Peru without disclosing where their knowledge comes from. I don't know what's going on in Peru, and I'll bet you don't either. >> I'll bet you never, ever went to Cambodia. I'm impressed how often gangs of marxoid thugs terrorize in the name of The People or The Working Class, how many corpses they leave in their wake and how steadfastly left wing intellectuals wring their hands about the sources of information which, when it comes to anyone waving a red flag, can never be good enough. At one time in the marxist movement, there would not have been a question of providing support to the thugs and killers like the "Shining Path". I didnt realize that I had to post a bibliography. But it is predictable that ten, fifteen years from now the Shining Path will be just one more shameful memory for leftists who have done so little for so many for so long. It is to be expected that a marxist left which has for almost a century been dominated by its own militarists has a knee jerk defensive reaction for war freaks. Curiously, the very same behavior (or worse) which is castigated when seen in capitalist democracies is ignored or justified (and which of those two is worse ?) when leftist thugs and bullies are involved. --- from list marxism-international-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
