It is the duty of the moderators of this list to put a stop to it. Zeynep is being critisised, not because anyone thinks of her as an enemy, but because she is wrong in the way she is acting on this issue. I must stress that I do *not* see her as an enemy. -------------------- Me: --------- Richard & Jim; Have you guys been reading the same exchanges between Zeynep and Adolfo as I have? Have you followed both their contributions since they arrived (Adolfo slightly before Zeynep) on M1? Clearly the only one trying to narrow the political line and limit discussion on this list is Adolfo. Moreover, to put Zeynep into the Trotskyist camp is hi-larious. Richard, since you arrived, you have been an inspiration to me. I look forward to reading your contributions and learning from you. But your victim-talk of the reds being baited - in the face of Adolfo's cruel anti-woman diatribe was ironic at best. I empathize with your anger so I don't mean to take you to task for it. I find Zeynep an exceptional thinker. I admire her courage and intelligence. She is a hero and a role model for me. In my darkest moments of alone-ness in this capitalist sea, I think of people like Zeynep and others on this list. Their courage touches so many. I hope some people will pull back and put the "suspensions" in perspective.(No-one was banned!) They were suspended only; for 2 weeks only. To be suspended from one email list should hardly hamper the revolutionary work of these individuals. They could continue to follow the list and write articles. I hope you won't let the growing pains of this wonderful list distort your view of Zeynep and her politics. I had prepared to post some thoughts very similar to your own, which were intended to contradict what I saw as Adolfo's very limiting vision of this list. Then I read your comments. Now, I'm just confused. Sorry to add to the static, but I did want to say a word in support of Zeynep. Gay Harley Toronto, Canada --- from list marxism-international-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
