Don't confuse a storm in an academic teapot with struggles with incomparably larger significance and consequence. Get a grip. Regain a sense of proportion. Further, if you profess to be engaged in a struggle on the cultural front, you shouldn't dismiss the question of style, even grammar and typography. Marxists used to take the Art of Propaganda seriously. Take a seminar in Russian constructivism. You guys are grad students in English or philosophy or something like that, right? Can't you learn to write better? It looks as though decades of formal education have been wasted on you. What a pity. Yoshie --- from list marxism-international-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
