Have you ever heard of the term "projection"? What you accuse me--and other
people of various marxist tendencies--of doing is exactly what you have
been doing all along. None of your posts has ever placed political focus on
production of surplus value. Further, your posts have placed graduate
student experience and an academic conference flyer--instead of capital--at
the center of your critical attention. (The most recent fetish of yours is
what you call "netleft.") In other words, you have yet to engage anything
beyond "experience," "text," and a sphere of "distribution" of ideas. Very
Postmodernist Performance.

In more recent posts, the most prominent rhetorical opposition that you
guys want to set up seems to be that between "intellectuals" (those who
read and write "Theory" in a way that badly imitates a certain academic
style) and "philistine anti-intellectuals." The addition of the word
"philistine" is revealing; you guys want your "Theory" to be classy. (It's
pathetic to see that your posts haven't lived up to your desire.)

Yoshie
