I think I've finally figured out UticaRose's schtick. S/he's actually a
performance art piece, a virtual identity, crafted by none other than LNP
himself. I'd wrongly thought that Lou was sort of an old-fashioned guy,
drawing on the genres of standup as practiced by Lenny Bruce and the
Borscht Belt funnymen, but I'd obviously underestimated him: "UticaRose" is
a brilliant identity, a virtual alter ego, that makes M-I a richer place.
