		Mr. Proyect,

I suppose that if I was a good Marxist I would read Monthly Review
and swallow any line of bullshit that some "people's" leader puts out,
instead of trying to sift the truth out of the news. I suppose I should
accept without question that Kabila has a good reason for hating
mini-skirts, the position of prime minister, and political demonstrations,
and for delaying elections for two years. I guess that on a continent
with a mere handful of actual democracies, I should pretty much assume
that THIS rise to power is different from all the others.

Well, I'm certainly hoping that Kabila can come across with the
goods for the people. I'm happy to disbelieve the mainstream media. I'm
happy that Mobutu is gone, God knows. You'll have to forgive me, however,
if I point out that Kabila may not be starting well.

	peace

p.s. - I find it interesting that you should accuse someone of being
"hostile" to anything.
