KARL: Hi Gary.

GARY: Karl and I have by now come to the end of our assertion and counter
assertions. I for the life of me cannot understand where he is coming
from. It is impossible in cyber space at times to get a grip on the
thoughts of one's correspondent and I find that Karl is a particularly hard
person to make out.

I reject what he says and he rejects what I say. There is not much point
moving on from this to the exchange of insults. I will post a review of
Adams' book and then attempt to take a look at the case of Michael Collins
- both the film and the historical character. My general thrust will be to
defend the progressive credentials of Irish Republicanism. No doubt Karl
and Matt will have something to say. That might take us forward.

KARL: I dont know what you are talking about. My recent positng to
you traded no insults.

                          Yours etc.,
                                     Karl
