arguments and mine are incommensurable, and that therefore I can't
have any interest in refuting your arguments. So you immediately
complain that I have not tried to refute your arguments.

KARL: In my view, despite my disagreements with him, Andrew's 
postings possess a richer quality that Carrol's could never come up 
to.

The copy of her meesage below, addressed to Andrew, is strong on 
conceit and empty on substance. In this respect Carroll displays a 
consistency that may be unprecendented.
