Right. (well, actually I can only speak for myself).

Someone else (Franco B from SA?) wrote some deatiled impressions of the
Spanish gathering on the aut-op-sy list that you (and others) might want
to check out.

The political perspectives advanced by the majority of participants may
indeed have been anarchist or autonomist marxist, but all of the reports
that I have heard about concerning both gatherings, including last year's
"encuentro" in Mexico, is that they have been characterized by solidarity,
comradeship, and non-sectarianisn. Like yourself, I view this as a very
hopeful development. I wonder: how many other list subscribers attended?

I found the sections of your (pre) report on Spanish squatters
particularly interesting. As I have discussed before on this list,
squatting is an international struggle not only in the sense that
squatting has become a major social struggle in many countries but also
because of the internationalism of the squatters themselves. In the Lower
East Side, for instance, there have been a lot of benefits and
demonstrations for squatters under attack in other countries. I am also
aware of international protests in many countries, especially in European
countries including the UK, Netherlands, Spain, and Italy, in solidarity
with the squatters in this community.
