The magazine was started in the early 70s by an authors' collective. My current affiliation to it does not go beyond doing some translations now and then. >From its beginnings one of its political and theoretical goals has been to encourage the international debate by translating and reprinting numerous articles and interviews. In this context some articles which first appeared in Monthly Review have been reprinted in the German language by Sozialismus within the last year. Inversely this has not been the case yet - as far as I know. Hence Lieber's "Review on the Goldhagen-Debate" could still be a good start. What do you think of this? Wednesday next?
