Subject: M-I: Re: Philistinism, a caricature of Marxism

All of us Lefties are good at quotation-slinging. Heartfield has no idea
what Lenin said -- and meant -- so he yanks quotation out of context,,
throws them at me (missing wildly), and bleats about my "obvious device of
the misquote," referring to an obviously unintended one-word error of no
consequence: "hardly" for "studiously."

These exchanges are ego-gratifying, but otherwise they are a waste of time
and I don't have the time. Anyone who knows Lenin's ideas and their
development knows how completely wrong -- and ignorant -- Heartfield is on
the subject.
