Glad to oblige. Of course, you have lots of company. Even the prosecutor's
office admitted after the verdict that the most the evidence called for was
a verdict of involuntary manslaughter. (The child's death, clearly,
resulted from a week-old injury of unknown origin). His parents, though,
were affluent, sympathetic, and from the right ethnic background. A perfect
paradigm for TV land.

But, given the gaggle of dutiful, cretinous "good citizens" reared regularly
by an official culture which despises them, this outcome was inevitable.
This bunch reminds me of our resident journalist/propagandists who
themselves are good rank-and-file toilers. In fact, they are so acclimated
to serving their master, that they frequently jump in, like the proverbial
Pavlovian dog, to defend their employers.

Nowadays, even before being asked.
