I'm not sure actually, but neither do I think you should be so sure.
And at least in *Wages, Price and Profit* Marx seems to think that
enrichment (at *least* in the sense of staving off immiseration) is
absolutely essential to revolution. The argument that immiseration is
necessary seems to be based on Citizen Wesson rather than Marx.
